Approximately 10 miles in length, split into 4 beats, each fishing up to 4 rods. 2 rods per beat is better. Beat rotation is every 24hrs.
The Lochy is a stunningly beautiful river – one of Scotland’s most scienic.
It used to be “dead mens shoes” pre fish farming, but even as little as 10 years ago, access was very restrcited.
These days, rods can be booked relatively easily and not in advance. Conditions can vary greatly, so booking last minute can be a good way to increase ones chances.
